Full Description
A group of military buildings can be seen on photographs taken in 1940 at RAF Bawdsey. The buildings are possibly painted with a camouflage pattern and are arranged in the same way as two other groups of buildings on the site (see BAW 121). They may have provided accommodation for personnel. In addition a possible bomb crater is visible to the east of the buildings in 1944. (S1) (S2) (S3) The buildings were demolished between October 1945 and October 1949. The remains of the foundations can be seen on photographs from 1949. (S4)
