Full Description

A group of three buildings is visible in photographs taken in 1940 at RAF Bawdsey. The disturbed ground around the buildings could suggest that they had been recently constructed. (S1) By 1944 the buildings have been altered dramatically, if not rebuilt, resulting in an extended building to the southeast and a smaller building to the northwest, as depicted. (S2) (S3) The buildings were demolished at some point between 1965 and 1995.
See BAW 051 for the nearby transmitters of the radar station, to which the buildings may have been related.
