Full Description
A stretch of pre-1945 sea bank can be seen running along the northern edge of Buss Creek for c 2km on 1945 aerial photograhs (S1), from TM49447667-TM51197700. The sea bank is also depicted on the 1st Ed OS 25" map, which dates to c1884. This would suggest that these flood defences are likely to have originated in the post-medieval period.
