Full Description

A short section of barbed wire obstruction can be seen on 1941 (S1) and 1943 (S2) aerial photographs, enclosing a small area of land at the southern tip of town marshes, to the south of Southwold. The feature has been replaced by a drainage ditch by 1945 (S3). It appears to have been part of the World War II defences in this area.
