Full Description

An area of narrow ridge and furrow is visible as an earthwork to the east of Sandymount Covert on 1945 aerial photographs (S1). The furrows are approx 2-3m apart and are relatively regular. This would suggest a post medieval or possibly modern date for the feature. The area of ridge and furrow centres on TM48347270 and is c 120m by 80m.
