Full Description

A line of World War II date anti-tank cubes, c 350m long, can be seen running between TM47727092 and TM47947072, to the north of Dunwich on 1941 aerial photographs (S1). There also appears to be a square pillbox associated with the cubes, at TM47957072. These features would have been components of the World War II defences in this area, and they can still be seen 'in situ' on aerial photographs from 1946 (S2).
