Full Description
1941 aerial photographs (S1) show a gun emplacement as an earthwork at TM47887045, close to the cliffs at Dunwich. There is also a small raised earthwork c19m to the north of the gun emplacement. This may also be a WWII defensive feature, but it is not clear from the aerial photograph exactly what it is. These features are still visible on photographs from 1945 (S2).
