Full Description

A number of earthworks, of what appear to be practice trenches, are visible close to Dunwich Forest at TM46456998 on 1945 aerial photographs (S1). There are about half a dozen of them, and they seem to be associated with the anti-aircraft battery and military buildings c 325m to the south-west (WLN 032). These features are likely to be of World War II date.
