Full Description
An L-shaped section of barbed wire obstruction, c 460m long, is visible as a structure on 1945 aerial photographs (S1), between TM46176579 & TM46406551, south of Sandypytle Plantation. This feature is of World War II date and would have been a component of the wartime defences in this area. The exact purpose of this particular feature is unclear.
