Full Description

A possible rectilinear ditched enclosure, pit and linear features, centred on TM 28084094, can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. Two sides of the possible rectilinear ditched enclosure are visible centred on TM 28114101. The enclosure appears to have an entrance on its southern side, located at TM 28124099. The date and function of the enclosure are unknown. There are also two curvilinear ditched features, one running north to south and one running roughly east to west, crossing at TM 28084085. A pit can also be seen as a cropmark at TM 28054093. The pit and linear features may be natural as there appears to be a wide geological feature running across the site. (S1) (S2)
