Monument record BML 031 - Possible field boundaries of unknown date on Bromeswell Heath.

Possible field boundaries of unknown date are visible as earthworks, on aerial photographs, running across the golf course on Bromeswell Heath. The longer of the features consists of a bank and adjacent ditch running from TM29824971 to TM30164944 for around 500m. The feature is not straight and takes an irregular route across the heath, on a roughly north-west to south-east alignment. The other feature consists of a bank running roughly north to south for 143m from TM 30054970 to TM 30024956. The earthworks may represent the remains of field boundaries but the date of the features is unclear. (S1) (S2)
