Full Description
A World War II coastal artillery searchlight is visible as a structure on aerial photographs taken from 1944 onwards, centred on TM 28213128 on the tip of Landguard Point, Felixstowe. The structure, probably an illuminated area light, is roughly 6m by 4m and has a rounded front from which a wedge-shaped beam would have shone. (S1) (S2) (S3) (S4)
