Full Description
A World War II trench is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1942 onwards, centred on circa TM38924622, Boyton parish. The trench is about 35m long and 3m wide and has been dug in a crenellated style, probably mainly for practice purposes but possibly also to enhance the anti-invasion defences to the south east (see BOY 056).
