Full Description

A rectilinear ditched enclosure of probable Post Medieval date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the south-west of The Vale farm, Harkstead. The rectangular enclosure is defined by a narrow ditch and by the road on its western side. The nature of the cropmark suggests that the underlying feature is not particularly old and the enclosure is likely to be of Post Medieval or even Modern date. (S1-S3)
