Full Description

Field boundaries of probable medieval or post-medieval date and a possible trackway of unknown date can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs, to the west of Woodbridge, centred approximately on TM255485. None are marked on the early Ordnance Survey maps available to the survey (S1, S2). However, while the possible field boundaries may be associated with the surrounding extant field system, the trackway is on a different, north-west to south-east alignment which supports an interpretation of a different, and probably earlier date.
