Full Description
A permanent military camp associated with the Second World War airfield at Bungay, one of in this area in this area, is visible on aerial photographs of 1944 as a complex of structures centred on circa TM 307858, approximately 250 metres to the east of Flixton Hall, Flixton parish (S1). The precise function of the site is not known but a use as accommodation or suchlike is probable. It was not possible to accurately transcribe the camp in due to the poor clarity of the photograph.
