Excavation revealed Bronze Age, Roman and Medieval activity

Fieldwalking in April 1988 revealed med pottery. 4 sherds also found during pipeline monitoring

Wooden hulk. Badly decayed. Ribs and bottom planking still visible. Woodwork directly in front of hulk - old jetty? 10m long (approx.) Formerly recorded as WLD MISC

A light scatter of flint flakes was noted during monitoring, although no features were observed (previously recorded as HMY Misc).
