Full Description
Small bossed biconical vessel with everted rim and footring found in digging a grave January 1841 (S1).
By 1861 the pot had been given by Mr Edge, the Rector of Wald(r)ingfield, to his friend 'W.W.' (? William Walford) (S2).
In the Purnell Collection, purchased by the BM 1872 (S3).
Pot is 5 1/4 inches high (S4), decorated with 14 small round bosses on the carination, separated by 3 vertical lines (S5).
