Evaluation revealed colluvial deposits of up to 1.1m were present over much of the site, and sealed archaeological deposits in four of the ten excavated trenches.

Monitoring of the footing trenches revealed a single post medieval feature as weel as a small quantity of unstratified Roman pottery.
