Roman pits and ditches relating to possible field sysetem were revealed by excavation along with Saxon ditches and finds and Prehistoric finds.

Oval plate brooch, missing pin, fairly corroded.

Rom porringer, C3 or C4, incomplete, found 100 yards East of Pickett's Road, c. Formerly recorded as FEX MISC

The only reference to the pot and tweezers is written on Basil Brown's map: "Mr Town's pot and bronze tweezers". Formerly recorded as LKD MISC

"In 1845 on Scotts Hall Farm was dug up a coarse earthen pot half an inch thick and 8 to 10 inches high, containing eighteen to twenty pieces of Rom coins, some few silver and the rest brass. Formerly recorded as WLN MISC
