Semi-circular flat-backed bronze ?inset with enamel (lost, possibly red), curvilinear design. Found metal detecting. Formerly recorded as TDM MISC

Saltern site reported by landowner and verified by SCCAS.

Large fragments of Roman roof, floor and flue tile and a few greyware sherds recovered from large ditch on north side of ancient woodland (STS 014).

Roman saltern identified during evaluation

Scatter of Rom pottery, mainly sandy fabric grey wares (plain bowls - 2 with groove, 1 without, flanged bowl, miscellaneous jars), ? C2 C3 C4, 3 samian fragments, 1 fragmented fragment of box tile, 3 floor tile fragments (S1).

Evidence of a Roman settlement and Medieval pits and ditches at Beaches Road, West Row revealed by metal detecting survey and evaluation.
