Green visible on Hodskinson's Map of 1783.

Evaluation identified ditches of probable post-medieval date, and a ditch or pit of late medieval to early post-medieval date, one ditch appears to define the edge of the green.

C18-C19 pottery, probably derived from School Farm Cottage (TM 2975 8476), which was standing in 1838, derelict by 1909 and demolished in about 1912 (S1).

Bronze hooked tag (dress hook) with ring and dot decoration, small, and a lozenge shaped object with punched circle and dot decoration knotted into a ? ring.
