a set of canals and a lock which form part of the lark navigation, controling the river to use it for the chimney mill (S1)

Field names 'Kiln Yard' and 'Kiln Field' suggest a kiln situated here previously.

'Chylton parke' marked on 1597 map to SE of Chilton Hall. Possible former deer park, perhaps deer park referred to in (S2). (peviously CHT Misc)

1987: Faint dark cropmark of southern half of ?ring ditch with outer pale arc (S1).
