Description
Excavation was carried out by AT. Following trial trenching, two small trenches covering approx 400sqm were opened either side of the central access road to East Close. The area was stripped by JCB, the topsoil being removed down to flint building foundations or natural chalk. Most of the were half sectioned (S1).
