Description

Excavation was carried out in 1999 prior to the building of the North Transept, commisioned by Gothic Design Practice and undertaken by SCCAS. The building of the North Transept was part of a Millennium Project to complete the tower of St Edmundsbury Cathedral and included a proposal to extend the existing north cloister of the Cathedral Churhc to the Cathedral Centre (S1).
