Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the installation of underground cables. Of the 770m of trench excavated a total of c.310m of open trench was inspected. The short length of trench inspected in the vicinity of Stoke Bridge exhibited a great depth of fill which probably relates to the backfilling of the basin adjacent Stoke Mill.
