Description
A short site visit was made to a small development site adjacent and just south of the A12. Trench sections were obscured by flood run-off a small quantity of finds were collected which indicate medieval and Post medieval settlement activity on this site. During the site visit archaeological visibility was good for artefact collection as the spoil and bare earth was well weathered though the large amount of Post medieval brick and tile obscured earlier material. However, visibility for recognition of features and layers was poor due to water run off.
