Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the groundworks for the construction of a single dwelling. The footings were generally 0.5m wide and dug to a depth of c.1.2m. A rectangular clay-lined feature which had been partly exposed and recorded during the preceding evaluation was identified. The full extent of the feature was not established although it is still believed to be a domestic bread oven.
