Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out to inspect groundworks on the site. The site for the new dwelling was terraced into the slope prior to groundwork starting and exposed the local deposit profile with 0.3m deep of topsoil above 0.3-0.5m of subsoil over the natural. An 8m long by 1.8m wide trench was excavated during the monitoring. 10th to post medieval pottery was identified.
