Description
Archaeological monitoring was carried out on two services trenches. The first trench ran parallel with the drive 3m from the drive edge. The subsoil occurs at a depth of 1m. The second trench was on an east west alignment to the telegraph pole. The exact area these two trenches covered is unclear but it is likely that they are positioned in the meadow south of Abbey Hall Barn and west of the priory (S1).
