Description
Monitoring of footing trenches to replace a 4m length of boundary wall between the churchyard and the NW corner of the garden. The trenches exposed a sequence of layers on the graveyard side, distmbed fragments of human bone and at least two west-east burials partially smviving below the wall footing. In both cases the skulls were on the graveyard side of the wall but the remainder of the body extends into the garden area.
