Description
(Only centre point of survey mapped, no further details) Close interval magnetic susceptibility measurements were taken over a soil stripped area. The data recorded when plotted produced a magnetic map which displayed a series of activities indicating the deposition of fire enhanced materials/soils and possibly in-situ burning. Although, the survey results did not totally coincide with the site base plan, the modern cultivation activities may have reduced the number of visual subsoil cut features. The known presnce of iron scale is seen by high MS values agains low MS values of natural deposts (S1).
