Description
Archaeological Monitoring was carried out adjacent to Caudle Head Mere at RAF Lakenheath during the construction of an oil interceptor to serve the Supply Material Control Facility. The monitoring consisted of a controlled strip of the area of the interceptor tank measuring c.4.00m x 20.00m and the examination of pipe trenches during and after excavation.
