Full Description

An area of Saxon and Early Medieval occupation adjacent to Cox Lane Saxon pottery kiln sites (IPS 206 and others). Now a car park. No definite plans for re-development (S1). Currently (2016) undergoing consultation for scheduled monument revision.

Tudor pot, yellow-glazed inside. Holed where handle broken off (S4)
