Full Description
Jet spacer bead, pottery, worked flint & fire cracked flints in "large black patch" exposed in rabbit workings & found by John King in June 1980. Spacer bead is decorated on one face by three concentric rows of dots in `waisted' or `hour glass' pattern. Four perforations on one side converge into three on the other. Good condition, apart from chip on one corner, when found, slightly crazed - see drawing.
Pottery: one sherd rusticated with finger-nail impressions & flint & grog fillers; one base sherd with grog filler and one vesicular body sherd. Flint: three scrapers, one scraper cum backed knife, 1 scraper cum knife, one knife, two utilized flakes and one ? axe blade fragment. Grid reference after (S1).
Note similar flintwork & pottery from IKL 052! - is above grid reference approximation?
