Full Description

c. 1904: Palaeolithic artefacts from "Icklingham" in IPSMG include 1904-5, "Palaeoliths from the Owers collection, Yarmouth" (S1).

c. 1920: Ovate flint implement from Layard collection, ex Owers collection (S2).

c. 1949: "Palaeolithic flint implements" from T Griffiths collection, details in IPSMG (S3).

1963: "Flint hand-axe, probably Acheulean. Per Dr Parsons 1963". Reported (?to IPSMG) "per Grace, Lady Briscoe" (S4). Further information in Briscoe archive.
