Full Description

Prick-spur of bronze with a `much decayed' iron prick rivetted into a hemispherical boss, zoomorphic terminals to arms. Probably mid C1 AD (cf similar spur from Pakenham - PKM Misc (R1)).
Purchased off G F Lawrence, 2 guineas, 1936 (S1).
Pricks circular setting is feature associated with Rom spurs of C1 AD (S2). May be Rom?
