Full Description

St Peter's Church, Great Redisham, otherwise Upredisham (vicarage). Possibly the other Domesday church in Ringsfield (see Ringsfield 002, and Ringsfield 004) (S3). In existence by 1291, Taxatio Ecclesiastica. Church consists of nave and chancel; W tower fell down over 100 years ago. Norman S doorway (S1).
Structure: chancel, nave, S porch, W turret of wood. Date: nave partly Norman, chancel Early Decorated. Position: W edge in Redisham village, E edge of parish. Diocese: St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, Archdeaconry Suffolk, Beccles and South Elmham deanery (S2).
