Full Description

1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for South East Suffolk survey located thin lithic scatter, over 40m x 40m area, on "Field 232". Finds consisted of 1 core & 14 flakes.

Also found on "Field 232" was 1 Ipswich ware sherd (Middle Saxon) & 1 ?IA flint- gritted sherd (findspots not stated), (S1).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on older version on coontext, (S2).
