Full Description

Oval `mound' shown on OS 1:10560 & 1:10000 maps (S1). Also mapped by OS in 1880s. Earlier maps not checked.
?Possible landscape feature - note (well) to E of `Tyrrells Hall', shown on Hodskinson's 1783 map and now, presumably, called Lodge Farm (S2).
Note further larger area to E also shown as embanked area though not labelled as `mound'.
