Full Description
Two sherds of "pottery" were found on the edge of a pond near Mill House, Westhall in 1959 and were identified by K S Painter of the British Museum as fragments from an IA 'C' (50 BC-AD 50) lathe-turned jar or tazza of shale. The sherds were probably associated with the IA/Rom settlement at Millpost Field (see CRN 01091 WHL 006). In the possession of Miss L De M Rudolf.
