Full Description

Tower mill dated 1823, it ceased to work by wind in 1925 and was power driven for some years. It had four patent sails, a fantail and a `beehive' cap. The cap is now in very poor condition. Two pairs of stones and a dresser remain (S1).
Sails were removed in 1925 (S2).
First mapped on Tithe Map, circa 1839 (S3)(R1).
Restored.
Listed as one of the 16 most important industrial archaeology site in Suffolk (S4)(R2).
