Full Description

St Leonard's Church, Horringer. It has a Decorated chancel with E window of four lights with reticulated tracery. The W tower is Perpendicular with pretty fleurons in the capitals of the arch towards the nave. The top is of brick, built in 1703. The S porch is Perpendicular with much flush work decoration, chequerboard and panel designs. A will of 1464 gives money to the new building of the porch and one of 1470 to its repair. A S chapel is attached to its E wall. The church was restored in 1818 and the N aisle was built in 1845 (S1). A church is listed in Horringer in the Domesday survey.
