Full Description
A church is recorded in the Domesday book at Stonham Aspal. Church of St Mary and St Lambert (dedication unusual - only one other known in England at Barneston in Yorkshire), although only N chapel dedicated to St Lambert. S aisle chapel dedicated to St Anne.
Consists of chancel, clerestoried nave, aisles, N porch. Tower stands to S of church & linked by porch. Details in (S1)(S2).
