Full Description

A church is listed at Felixstowe in the Domesday Survey of 1086. Church of St Peter and Paul. Consists of apsidal chancel, nave, transepts, S porch, tower. 1086 church (burgh) + 12 acres. C12 traces in doorways. C14 N doorway, 1873 chancel rebuilt using bricks from Martello Tower. 1871-1872 C19 restoration. Details in (S1)(S2).
