Full Description

1994: Worked flint scatter including scrapers located during initial fieldwalking survey of route of proposed bypass. Details to follow (S1)

August 1994: Evaluation trenches across area of scatter located traces of (field?) boundary ditches in areas of lighter soil, also probably of prehistoric date. Patches of heavier clay soils in same field largely destroyed by arable agriculture. Details in (S2).

Descriptions of finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on older version on this record, and find location (S3).
