Description

Archaeological assessment, including fieldwalking survey, of preferred route for the A143 Rickinghall and Botesdale bypass which is 405km long and runs south of the present road which forms the main street for the Rickinghalls and Botesdale. No previous systematic archaeological survey has been carried out in the areas affexted by the route. Each arable field on the route was fieldwakled at 20m intervals (S1).
