Full Description

Metal detector finds from site CLA 012.
November 1993: Buckle and Nuremburg(?) type jetton.
December 1994: 3 bronze strap ends, bronze mirror case fragment, bronze harness pendant mount, gilded pendant mount, gilded bronze bar mount, 2 buckle plates, 3 buckles, 2 Med coins.
May & October 1995: Strap end (S1).
Also Misc PMed coins, tokens & other metalwork.
Surface pottery finds in November 1994 included a few medieval coarse ware fragments and some possible early Anglo-Saxon hand made sherds.
