Possible kiln (brick?) suggested by Great Whelnetham tithe map & apportionment names for adjoining plots: Kiln Field (170) and Kiln Bottom (165)(S1).
Two brickfields and kilns are known to have existed in Great Whelnetham (S2). Possible kiln was constructed to produce bricks to be used to build Great Whelnetham Hall (WLG 001) to W.
