Full Description

1996: Scatter of lots of black and creamy/stained worked flints reported (not seen) at cited NGR (S1).

1994: Evaluation identified an east-west running ditch in one of the trenches with a small quantity of pottery being recovered form the topsoil of the trenches. This was probably from a medieval manuring scatter. Overall the results of the evaluation did not reveal any significant archaeological deposits (S2).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric, based on details of discovery, (S3).

Similar scatter reported circa 200m to North - see Beccles 025.
